Christmas Get-Together & End-of-Year Party in Downtown The Hague
Cocktail reception, dinner, and party all under one roof on the Grote Markt—for 20 to 600 guests. Winter-ready rooftop, in-house catering, a 5- to 10-minute walk from the government ministries.
Wrapping up the year with your team starts with a great Christmas get-together—and, as far as we’re concerned, doesn’t end until late in the evening. Bleyenberg is the place in the heart of The Hague where the get-together, the Christmas dinner, and the end-of-year party flow seamlessly into one another, without your guests ever having to leave the building. Five floors, one point of contact.
From an intimate department get-together to a year-end party for 600 people
Whether there are 20 or 600 of you—your Christmas party can accommodate any size group. A cozy department get-together at Bar Bley (up to 250 guests), a gathering with a winter view on the Rooftop, a seated Christmas dinner or standing party at De Martinus (up to 200 guests), or the entire venue for a year-end party for up to 600 guests with separate areas for drinks, dinner, dancing, and karaoke. You can choose a single floor or create a route through the entire building.
A rooftop that's open even in December
The Hague’s only rooftop bar isn’t just for summer. Thanks to the covered terrace and infrared heaters, you can host a Christmas party or New Year’s reception there even in December—with winter views of the illuminated city center, warm cocktails, and bar bites. That’s the kind of experience no other business venue in The Hague can offer you.
Cocktail party, Christmas dinner, and a celebration—all under one roof
Start with drinks at Bar Bley or on the Rooftop, move on to a standing reception or shared dinner at De Martinus, and wrap up the night with the resident DJ or the seven private BLÊR karaoke booths. Nothing breaks the ice at a staff Christmas party quite like a manager belting out “Last Christmas.” One location, one itinerary—no need for taxis to a second venue halfway through the evening.
Accessibility — even on a dark December evening
Bleyenberg is located at Grote Markt 10, right in the heart of downtown. The Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, the House of Representatives, and the Binnenhof are all within a 5- to 10-minute walk. From The Hague Central Station, you can get there in 10 minutes on foot or by taking tram lines 2, 3, 4, or 6 for two stops (Central Station → Spui → Grote Markt). Parking is available at the Q-Park directly across from the front door. No parking hassles, no long commutes—your colleagues and guests will be there in no time.
Trusted by government and the business community in The Hague
Within walking distance of the ministries, the Binnenhof, and the House of Representatives, we host annual year-end gatherings for ministries and corporations. One example is the Ministry of the Interior’s Christmas party for 280 guests:
“Thank you for taking such good care of us and for the excellent service; we had a wonderful time. Even though there were more people than expected, you handled it very well.” — Rassoul, Ministry of the Interior · Christmas party for 280 people

December fills up quickly—especially Thursdays and the weeks leading up to Christmas. Yes. The same flexibility applies to New Year’s Eve and January: from a low-key New Year’s reception to a lively New Year’s party with a DJ. Many companies combine the two—a year-end party in December and a New Year’s party with business associates in January.
-
The catering is fully customized. Vegetarian, vegan, halal, and allergy-friendly options are available as standard with all packages. If you let us know your dietary preferences in advance, the kitchen team will ensure that every guest is provided with suitable options.

You can rent individual floors or the entire building. Bar Bley on the ground floor (approximately 280 m², up to 250 guests standing), De Martinus (185 m², up to 200 guests in a party setup), the covered Rooftop Bar (approximately 225 m², up to 150 guests during the winter months), and BLÊR Karaoke with seven private booths for a total of 84 guests. When all five floors are rented out, there is room for up to 600 guests, with separate areas for drinks, dinner, dancing, and karaoke.
-
A Christmas cocktail party is typically a standing or sit-and-stand event lasting two to four hours, featuring appetizers, drinks, and small bites. A Christmas dinner centers around a multi-course meal in a set-up dining room, often followed by drinks. A New Year’s Eve party is larger and more festive: usually a sit-down dinner or a cocktail reception, followed by drinks, a DJ, a dance floor, and a late-night option. At Bleyenberg, many companies combine these elements—for example, a short cocktail reception followed by dinner and a dance party, or a dinner with karaoke in the BLÊR booths to wrap things up.
-
The main rooms can remain open until 1:30 a.m. The BLÊR Karaoke booths are available until 1:45 a.m. for groups who want to wrap up the evening with private karaoke. For specific requests regarding sound, permits, or extended hours for larger events, we’ll work with you to find a customized solution.

Please include the date, number of guests, type of event, your organization, and any special requests.

3. Custom Proposal — You’ll receive a detailed proposal with transparent pricing, tailored exactly to your needs.
4. Confirmation and Planning — Once we’ve reached an agreement, we’ll set the date and begin working out the event planning details: catering, beverage package, audiovisuals, technical planning, and the event script.
5. On the evening of the event—our event manager will be there to make sure everything runs smoothly, so you can focus on your guests.
