BLÊR is located in the basement of Bleyenberg, but the building features three distinct areas spread across three different floors. Which combination you get depends on the season: in the summer, the rooftop is open to the public, and in the winter, Bar Bley is open to the public. BLÊR karaoke is open year-round on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. For corporate groups, all floors are available year-round.

The seven booths are located in the basement of Bleyenberg at Grote Markt 10, a three-minute walk from the Grote Markt tram stop and a five-minute walk from Spui. Right in the heart of the nightlife district, on the lively square.
Each booth is double-soundproofed. That means: whatever you sing stays inside your booth, and you won’t hear what the group next to you is singing. No open-mic stage where you have to sing in front of strangers. No shared room. No waiting in line for the microphone. No interruptions from the next singer.

BLÊR is part of Bleyenberg: a multi-concept hospitality venue featuring the Bar Bley restaurant and bar on the ground floor and a rooftop bar on the third floor—the only rooftop bar in the center of The Hague with a publicly accessible outdoor terrace. During the summer months (April through September), the rooftop is open to the public, where you can enjoy pre-dinner cocktails with a view of the Grote Markt; during the winter months (October through March), Bar Bley is open to the public, and you can dine and have drinks on the ground floor. In both cases, you can then head down to the basement for karaoke. Everything under one roof.
BLÊR is open on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 5:00 PM to 1:45 AM. Minimum age is 18. Reservations can be made at book.blerkaraoke.nl up to three months in advance. Popular nights are often fully booked weeks in advance.
Summer evenings (April through September) — karaoke + rooftop
During the spring and summer months, the rooftop is open to the public on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays starting at 5:00 PM—no reservation required, weather permitting.
7:30 PM — Start on the rooftop (3rd floor)
Start at the top. Take the elevator or stairs to the third floor—you’ll find yourself on the only rooftop terrace open to the public in the center of The Hague. Order a signature cocktail, grab a bar snack, and enjoy the view of the Prinsegracht and the Grote Markt. During the summer months, you’ll arrive right at golden hour: the sun sets behind the skyline around 9:00–10:00 p.m.
9:30 PM — The resident DJ takes the stage
On Fridays and Saturdays, the resident DJ starts playing on the rooftop at 9:30 p.m. It’s not quite karaoke time yet—but it’s when the energy really starts to build. Join in the dance, grab another cocktail, and get warmed up.
10:00 PM — Head down to the basement for BLÊR
Take the stairs or elevator down, then head to the basement. Your booth is waiting for you. Sing your heart out for two hours.
12:00 a.m. — Back up to the rooftop terrace!
Your karaoke session is over. Want to keep going? The rooftop is open until 1:30 a.m. in the summer—enjoy one last cocktail under the stars while the DJ keeps the music going. Or head back to bed. It’s your night.

HTM tram lines 2, 3, 4, and 6 stop right at the Grote Markt tram stop (after Spui). From The Hague Central Station, all of these tram lines will take you to us in just two stops: Central Station → Spui → Grote Markt
There are plenty of bike parking spots next to our building, on Boekhorststraat, or on Prinsegracht.
Whether you come by bike, public transit, or on foot—you’ll be there in no time! And after your singing session, grab a cocktail at our Rooftop Bar to soothe your vocal cords!
The entrance to the Q-Park Prinsegracht is located right across from our front door. Tip: the other entrance (or exit) is located next to City Hall on Spui, and oddly enough, that entrance is called Q-Park Grote Markt! The parking garage thus extends the entire length of the street.

The Roar and The Squeal (max 6 people) €105 per booth, The Shout (max 7) €122.50, The Whoop, The Scream, and The Grunt (max 8) €140, and The Yell (max 12) €210. At full capacity, this comes out to €17.50 per person for 2 hours of karaoke. Drinks are paid for separately via the tablet in your booth.

Maar in hetzelfde pand kun je prima eten, afhankelijk van het seizoen. In de wintermaanden (oktober t/m maart) is Bar Bley op de begane grond publiek open — speelse restobar met sharing dishes en bar bites. In de zomermaanden (april t/m september) kun je vooraf naar de rooftop op de derde verdieping voor bar bites met uitzicht. BLÊR zelf is het hele jaar door open op donderdag, vrijdag en zaterdag vanaf 17:00. Absolutely. BLÊR is a popular spot for bachelorette and bachelor parties, birthdays, team outings, and Friday afternoon drinks. The largest room, The Yell, accommodates 12 people. For larger groups, you can book multiple rooms side by side. BLÊR is located in the same building as Bar Bley (restaurant-bar, open to the public October through March) and the rooftop (open to the public April through September), allowing you to combine karaoke with a seasonal drink or dinner at the same location. BLÊR enforces a strict age restriction of 18 and older. This applies to all guests in the rooms and during all hours of operation. You may be asked to show identification upon arrival.

No, we don’t serve food in the karaoke rooms themselves. You can order drinks all evening via the tablet; our staff will bring them to your booth. For food, we’d like to direct you to Bar Bley (ground floor, open during the winter season from October through March) or the rooftop (third floor, open during the summer season from April through September)—both located in the same building.

If the room hasn’t been booked by the next group after your time slot, you can stay for an additional fee. If the room has been booked, we’ll be happy to help you out—in the summer, head to the rooftop (3rd floor); in the winter, head to Bar Bley (ground floor). Want to be sure you can sing for 3 or 4 hours? Then book two consecutive time slots.

You can book up to three months in advance. Friday and Saturday evenings are the busiest times and are often fully booked weeks in advance, especially during exam periods, bachelor/bachelorette season (May–July), and the holidays. Thursday evenings and late time slots (after 10:00 PM) are generally easier to book on short notice.

Popular combo: start with cocktails and sunset on the rooftop (sun sets around 9:00–10:00 PM), and on Fridays and Saturdays, catch the resident DJ starting at 9:30 PM, then head downstairs for two hours of karaoke. Or the other way around: sing first, then wrap up the evening upstairs. During the fall and winter months, the rooftop is closed to the public—in that case, combine your visit with Bar Bley on the ground floor.
